Si La ethnic village - The Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism has a area of 0,13ha, in which the construction area is 40,22m2, including 01 soil house and 02 domestic animal stables and 02 firewood houses.
Si La Houses in the The Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism is the soil house with an area of 34,62m2 and two wings, front veranda and one door. The house is covered with bamboo partition. The house wing is so narrow that the gable roof is sloppy and their two oblique sides creep into two main front and back roofs.
Si La House has rafter with three columns but without the middle column. A segment of fleeing column is replaced with a segment of cross supporting columns.

For Si La people, the indoor space is arranged quite clearly. For the head of family, the middle column is the place to worship ancestors of the family. In other houses, the left corner is the parent altar. The altar is partitioned into private room. The householder’s room is in the big space next to altar which is partitioned with other spaces by bamboo walls with a door. The house has two kitchens and the main kitchen is placed at the middle. Three stones are placed on this kitchen as earthen tripod. The most important earthen tripod (worshipping stone) backs to the ancestral altar. The Si La people think that the ancestors stay here to take care of their family.
