Tay ethnic village in the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism has an area of 0,93ha, in which, the construction area is 382,7m2, including 01 soil house and 01 stilt house.

Tay people live in stilt houses, soil houses and soil stilt houses. The stilt house is the type with four roofs, good wood surrounded with planks, laminated floor and thatch coverage. The house frame is formed basing on the rafter connection. The soil house is the type of two roofs, soil wall; soil is compacted into ingots and piled on each other to form a wall.

The stilt house is erected with the activity layout as following: on the top is attic or dark attic in another word, is the storehouse for seeds, cum paddies and other tools which are not frequently used. The second floor is the living space of family members. The lowest floor is ground to lock buffalo, cow, pig and chickens in and store agricultural tools and grinding mortar etc.
