Muong ethnic Village at Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism is 0,9ha in area of which construction area of 468,69m2 and consists of 03 stilt houses and an outhouse.

House: 03 stilt houses of Muong people at Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism are 466.53 m2 in total area and in the four-roof stilt houses. Scale usually located at the back right. Scale accessories for women at the top in the left. The main staircase is located in the right gable. The sub-staircase for females is located in the left gable. The frame is founded in the middle part between piles and trusses, the truss attached to purlin and its legs fitted into the top of the small piles. Trusses consist of four piles: 2 big piles of which top attached to purlin, 2 small piles outside 2 big piles. Roof truss consists of 2 single trusses of which top attached to each other, two legs arranged in A shape. Under truss, there is a stub placed on the purlin for truss to be closely fixed. Truss back is fixed with a row of nails to support purlins. Houses are built with wood, bamboo, leaves.

The house is divided into two parts: one part for men’s daily activities receiving male guests and placing ancestor called the outside. The second part has the kitchen inside and women’s daily activities. The house is also divided vertically into the above and the below. This division is estimated and not related to the altitude. The stove is placed in the house.
