 The second horse race of H’Mong ethnic group in “Village”

(LVH) - In the afternoon of the 16th February, 2014, the second horse race of H’Mong ethnic group in Bac Ha district, Lao Cai province continued to be held at the racecourse, Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism.

The Second horse race attracted thousands of visitors

 In the afternoon, the race included 16 jockeys, was divided into four rounds to choose 4 best jockeys for the final round. The race took place attractively with enthusiastic cheering of numerous people and many tourists from neighboring provinces.

The drastic races with the chase, competition of the horses along with the cheering of the spectators created a bustling atmosphere at the racecourse. Moreover, there were also moments of humor when the unruly horses made their owners powerless.

The special performance items of H’Mong ethnic group also took place among dramatic races such as: blowing pan-pipe, antiphonal singing, umbrella dancing, spinning the top, etc. This was an opportunity for people to see the cultural beauties of H’Mong ethnic group that had left an unforgettable impression in their heart.
The results of the second horse race of H’Mong ethnic group:
- The First Prize: Vang Van Huynh, horse No.416
- The Second Prize: Lam Van Son, horse No.432
- The Third Prize: Vang Seo Cuong, horse No. 048
- Good investment: Vang Seo Vu, horse No. 083

Jockey Vang Van Huynh and his horse proved the superior power once time. After becoming the champion in Bac Ha horse race in 2013, wining the first prize in the last afternoon on February 15th, 2014, he and horse No.416 won the first prize in Ha Noi.
