Vietnam Culture Week in Laos

(LVH) - From 28/8 to 9/2/2013, Vietnam Culture Week in Laos was held with the main activities took place at Lao National Cultural Hall in Vientiane - capital of Lao People's Democratic Republic . A delegation of officials, artists, actors of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam led by Deputy Minister Huynh Vinh attended this meaningful event.

In the morning of August 27th, the mission of the Management Board of Vietnam national Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism led by Mr. Nguyen Dinh Loi, deputy head, left Hanoi to Vientiane to attend Vietnam Culture Week in Laos. The delegation was welcome in Vientiane International Airport by the co Mr. ades: TS. Boua Ngan Phimmachak, Deputy Director of Department of Fine Arts- Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism of Lao People's Democratic Republic; Hoang Van Son, Deputy Director of Vietnam Cultural Centre in Laos and a number of officials of Art Department of Laos Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism.

The mission of Management Board of Vietnam national Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism attended "Vietnam Culture Week in Laos" with more than one hundred of pictures under topics: The partnership between the two countries' senior leaders in previous years and at present; partnerships in all fields between the two countries; Vietnam, the country and people, including images of Vietnam national Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism , the formation and development. Additionally, many of which are integrated with records introducing Vietnam national Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism with Lao subtitles and some issues of Vietnamese village Journal with images of Vietnam country, culture and Vietnamese people.
In the process of preparing photo exhibition, the delegation received the dedicated and caring help and cooperation of Fine Arts Department- Lao Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism in the spirit of fellow brothers, as well as the close cooperation of Vietnam Cultural Centre in Laos.

With the meaningful images of partnership between Vietnam and Laos, lively images of Vietnam country and people, at the opening ceremony, the exhibition had the honor of a visit from senior leaders of Lao People's Democratic Republic: Mr. AsangLaoly, Politburo member, Deputy Prime Minister of Lao People's Democratic Republic, Mr. Bosengkham Vongdala, member of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Central Committee, Minister of Information, culture and tourism; Mr. Huynh Vinh Ai, Deputy Minister of Vietnam Culture, Sport and Tourism; Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, ambassador of Vietnam in Laos and leaders of the two ministries and departments in Vientiane capital. The exhibition attracted hundreds of visitors and highly appreciated with content and meaning of the pictures.
Based on the request of Vietnam Cultural Centre in Laos which was agreed by leaders of the Minister, all pictures of the exhibition were donated to them.

Apart from the photo exhibition performed by Management Board of Vietnam national Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism, Vietnam Cultural Week in Laos also had artistic performances of 28 artists and actors of Youth Theater. Besides from bringing beautiful, eventful moments to Lao people and international friends, the show played the role of a bridge introducing and promoting character of Vietnam’s culture and art to Lao people.
