State President Truong Tan Sang visited and offered New Year wishes in Culture-Tourism Village of Vietnamese ethnic minorities

(LVH) - On 20/02/2013, State President Truong Tan Sang and the leaders of Communist Party and State visited, offered New Year wishes to the community of Vietnamese peoples, and planted memorial tree and attended the ceremony of Falling Neu Tree at Culture-Tourism Village of Vietnamese ethnic minorities (Dong Mo, Son Tay, Hanoi).

At a New Year's greeting of the President at Culture-Tourism Village of Vietnamese ethnic minorities, Mr. Hoang Tuan Anh, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Giang Seo Phu, Minister, Chairman of the Committee for Ethnic Minorities; Ha Thi Lien, Vice President of Vietnam Central Fatherland Front Committee; Trieu Thi Nai, Giang A Chu, Vice Chairman of ethnic Council of the National Assembly; Nguyen the Ky, deputy head of the Central Propaganda Department, Ms. Katherine Muller Marin – Chief representative of UNESCO in Vietnam, Ho Anh Tuan, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism cum chief of Management Board of Culture-Tourism Village of Vietnamese ethnic minorities, leaders of Bureaus, Departments under the Ministry along with more than 200 participants elders and chiefs, religious leaders, notables, intellectuals, artists, representing 19 nations participated in activities at Culture-Tourism Village of Vietnamese ethnic minorities

 In the warm, friendly atmosphere of the early days of New Year, on behalf of Communist Party, the State, the President offered New Year Wishes to representatives of ethnic communities of Vietnam from Ha Giang, Tuyen Quang, Lang Son, Bac Giang, Son La, Hoa Binh, Thanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan and Dak Lak, praised the solidarity of the peoples, encouraged the community of peoples of Vietnam to have made contributions and achievements in preserving, maintaining the traditional cultural beauty of Vietnam. President also said that the community of the peoples of Vietnam had happy and warm spring after a year of efforts to overcome many difficulties and challenges in order to gain achievements in nation construction and protection. Along with the efforts of peoples, the Communist Party and State, the organization of political system at all levels and branches of local took care, facilitated the people of all ethnic groups in the national domain have fun on meaningful traditional New Year.
President also welcomed the organization of the Festival “Spring colors on every part of the Fatherland” in 2013 by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Management Board of Culture-Tourism Village of Vietnamese ethnic minorities, which was a very meaningful activity to present, honor traditional cultural beauty of Vietnam and proposed Party Committees, government, Fatherland Front and the whole minority ethnic groups in the coutry continue to strive to contribute to economic development, poverty reduction, increase of knowledge, material and spiritual life, preserve and promote cultural identity, good traditions of the nation. State President Truong Tan Sang also stressed that: Management Board of Culture-Tourism Village of Vietnamese ethnic minorities should promote better the achieved results, especially in organizing, enhancing promotion and attracting more and more people visiting the Cultural Village, and constantly consolidate and strengthen the great solidarity of Vietnamese ethnic minorities.
At a New Year's greeting, a chance to reveal sentiments, thoughts and aspirations, representatives of Cham (Ninh Thuan), Muong (Peace), San Diu (Bac Giang), Cao Lan (Tuyen Quang), Turkey (Thanh Hoa), Lo Lo (Ha Giang), Ede (Dak Lak) ... expressed their gratitude to the attention of the Communist Party and State to ethnic minorities when they had meaningful traditional Tet holidays. They also expressed their desires to be facilitated more to participate in cultural activities, contributing to emotional exchanges between ethnic groups in the family of Vietnamese ethnic minorities.
Representative of Cao Lan – San Chay ethnic people, Mr. Sam Van Du (Tuyen Quang) expressed: “We are deeply moved when offerred New Year wishes, encouragement, incentives, gifts on the occasion of new year by State President and I am very happy to attend the Festival “Spring Colors on every part of the Fatherland”. Coming to this event, I could exchange and learn more anout costumes, ethnic lifestyle of other peoples. As such, it is so meaningful when Communist Party, State leaders paid attention and built us a common house for 54 Vietnamese ethnic peoples, especially in which existed individual houses with their own indentities.
There, the President presented gifts to the community of Vietnamese peoples, Management Board of Culture-Tourism Village of Vietnamese ethnic minorities and representatives of ethnic communities gave the President simple, meaningful souvenir attaching to daily life of some ethnic groups such as: brocade towel of Pa Then, brocade bag of Lo Lo, bells of Laos, ancient calendar of Muong…
Next, the President visited Cham Tower complex, Khmer Pagoda and planted memorial tree in the area of ethnic villages III, Culture-Tourism Village of Vietnamese ethnic minorities.
