Eternal ethnic unity spirit of Vietnam

(LVH) - At 18/11, "Ethnic unity - Vietnam Cultural Heritage" Week was opened at Vietnam National Villages for Ethnic Culture and Tourism (Dong Mo, Son Tay, Hanoi).

This is the highlight of the series of activities in "Ethnic unity - Vietnam Cultural Heritage" Week organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 86th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (18/11/1930-18/11/2016) and celebrate Cultural Heritage Day of Vietnam (23/11).

The ethnic communities on the "culture road"

Attending the opening ceremony, there were village elders and chiefs, artisans, people from ethnic minorities: Xo Dang, Ba Na (Kon Tum), Bana (Phu Yen), Gia Rai (Gia Lai) Tay (Thai Nguyen), Dao, Thai (Nghe An), Muong (Hoa Binh), Kho Mu (Dien Bien), Ede, Khmer (Soc Trang) - representing the ethnic communities across the regions in the country.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Chairman of the Central Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan affirmed that national unity is the traditional and precious cultural heritage of our nation, forged through the history of thousands of years building and defending the country... Since the Vietnam Fatherland Front was established 86 years ago under the leadership of the Party, the strength of ethnic unity has been raised and promoted.
He stressed: Today, the strength of national unity remains an important inner resource to our people to overcome all difficulties and challenges, successfully implement the renovation process and international integration, construction and firmly protect the Fatherland.
He called: "The Vietnamese - cadres, party members, farmers, workers, soldiers, doctors, teachers, youths, women, priests, monks in every village and city and overseas please jointly build and promote national unity everyday".
Also during the opening ceremony, the art program " Mother Arm - Song of Unity" was held with the entertainment shows with bold cultural identity of the ethnic communities of Vietnam by the singers, artists from Youth Theatre; Cai Luong Theatre; Doan ca Hue; Hoa Ban Trang Band....

Dances with bold cultural identity of the Central Highlands

Especially, the Carnival on "Culture road" by the cultural subjects - ethnic groups Xo Dang, Ba Na (Kon Tum), Bana (Phu Yen), Gia Rai (Gia Lai) Tay ( Thai Nguyen), Dao, Thai (Nghe An), Muong (Hoa Binh), Kho Mu (Dien Bien), Ede, Khmer (Soc Trang) paintings created deeply imbued national culture. Before attending art program, participants took a tour and discussed with the ethnic communities on the culture road. A full cultural space with the colorful ethnic cultural regions: Northern Mountain, Northwest, South Central, North Delta and Central Highlands. The unique culture of the region is stretched from the main entrance to the theater, from “hat then, dan tinh” to solidarity dance of the ethnic communities in northern mountainous region to Hue; through Highland with echoes of gongs and Southern region with traditional music – “don ca tai tu” and “Ro-bam” dance, “du ke” dance of Khmer community...

The program ended with Solidarity round for ethnic unity, to honor the spirit of national unity - the power for the people of Vietnam to overcome all difficulties and challenges, win great achievements in construction, development, protection and development of the country.
