Celebration of National Day in Vietnam National Villages for Ethnic Culture and Tourism

(LVH) - In the morning on 02/09/2015, activities for "Celebration of National Day" on 02/09 was first held in "Common Home" of ethnic communities in Vietnam. H'mong, Ha Nhi, La Hu, Mang and Si La people with their best outfits converged on highland market to meet, exchange the culture and perform songs and dances to celebrate the National Day.

People attending the opening ceremony of "Clebration of National Day" were: Mr. Lam Van Khang, Deputy Head of the Managing Committee of Vietnam National Villages for Ethnic Culture and Tourism; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Dung, Deputy Director of the National Library of Vietnam; Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoan, Director of Vietnam Cheo Theatre; Mr. Do Ha Long, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lai Chau Province; Mr. Nguyen Van Tri, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dien Bien Province. In particular, there was the participation of artisans, village patriarches and heads of the H'mong and Ha Nhi, La Hu, Mang and Si La people (Lai Chau Province); people, visitors and reporters of news agencies, newspapers

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Do Ha Long, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lai Chau emphasized: The cultural activities and lively folk games of the ethnic people express national unity and deep gratitude to the Party and Uncle Ho who brought independence and freedom to the people of Vietnam. Through these activities, arousing spirit of patriotism, pride in cultural traditions and revolutionary traditions, creating a joyful and excitement atmosphere and encourage ethnic communities to overcome all difficulties, build a strong homeland.
In the opening program, the repertoires of traditional folk songs and dances performed by H'mong, Ha Nhi, La Hu, Mang and Si La (Lai Chau Province) attracted peopleand visitors attending.
After the opening ceremony, the Northern highland market was officially opened. People from all the mountainous villages of the H'mong, Ha Nhi, La Hu, Mang and Si La people, Ethnic Villages Zone I, Vietnam National Villages for Ethnic Culture and Tourism, people with the most beautiful outfits and unique traditional instruments eagerly invite each together to form groups converging to highland market, meet, and exchange culture and arts to celebrate the National Day.
Especially, in the morning on 2/9, H'mong people from Lai Chau did the praying rituals of National Day in the village of H'mong peolpe, ethnic villages Zone I. After praying rituals, people also went down to highland market and participated in activities with other ethnic communities here.
Activities for "Celebration of National Day" will continue until 06/09/2015 at the "Village" with many exciting activities bearing ethnic identities as: Activities in Northern highland market; Reproduce the unique rituals and traditional festivals; the program of folk songs and dances and ethnic folk games...
